A Very Special Chapter in the Carreg Cariad Story
Carreg Cariad has always been about creating jewellery with a story, but one particular chapter has become especially meaningful to me. As a lifelong lover of music and a lifelong ABBA fan, I was incredibly proud to have the opportunity to gift handmade jewellery to the members of ABBA. I never imagined that one of those pieces would eventually be chosen by Agnetha Fältskog to wear at one of the most important occasions in ABBA's history.

A while ago I made a few pieces of jewellery which I sent to Stockholm for each member of my favourite all time band, ABBA.
On May 31st, ABBA received a UK equivalent to a knighthood in the royal Swedish palace and Agnetha was seen wearing the necklace I made.
This is the exact necklace I made which she chose to wear at one of their most important days of their lives! I have even been interviewed by a reporter journalist who approached me from The Daily Express, my article was published on December 9th 2024 and a local newspaper Leader Live which was published on December 10th 2024.
